Peace. My name is Eddie Tillman, Sr. and I’m standing before you today not just as a man with a plan, but as a man with a mandate.
My walk with the spirit didn't start in a boardroom or a classroom; it started when I was five years old. My grandparents made sure my sisters and I had a firm foundation, sending us to Catholic school from K-8. I grew up knowing the weight of the Mass and the strength of the Baptist church. I’ve been a spiritual child my entire life, and I have spent years diving deep into various religions and spiritual beliefs to find the thread that connects us all. Because I was already looking for the light, I was ready when it showed up.

In 1984, on Paris Avenue right here in New Orleans, a seed was planted. It wasn't planted by a person, and it wasn't planted by a book. It was planted by a vision, a luminous sentinel that stood in a hallway and marked a path that has taken me forty years to fully understand. I stayed a student of the word until 1999, when a spiritual mentor introduced me to the Urantia Book. That’s when the scales fell off. I realized that my upbringing in the church, my global research, and that 1984 vision were all part of one single journey. We are Cosmic Citizens with a divine inheritance.

The Father needed a brotherhood in New Orleans that couldn't be bought, couldn't be scared, and couldn't be confused. We’ve spent two decades each testing these truths against the real world. We’ve seen the science back up the spirit, and we’ve seen the spirit bring life to the science.

The Melchizedek Embassy is guided by people who care about the soul of this city. We aren't just "officials”; we are neighbors, workers, and students of the truth who are dedicated to bringing order back to our community.
The Collective Spark
Most people look for one name at the top of a masthead, but the First Church of Urantia wasn't built that way. This wasn't one man’s idea; it was a collective revelation. It started with late-night conversations, shared questions about our city’s hidden history, and a mutual hunger for a story far older and bigger than what we were seeing on the surface.
The ideas you see here the Melchizedek Initiative, the street-level education, and the mission to bring the Papers to the people grew out of the brotherhood of our founding board. Every one of these brothers brought a piece of the puzzle to the table. We realized that no one person has the whole truth, but when we stand together as a team, the light of the Father shines a whole lot brighter.

We are community mentors who have been on the front lines in New Orleans for twenty years, serving our neighbors and providing a steady hand where it’s needed most. We realized that the old systems and "robot talk" don't have all the answers, so the Father prepared us to build a foundation that is as solid as it is spiritual.
